Clinton will speak Thursday in Charlotte, campaign officials announced Saturday. More details will be released later, campaign officials said.

Also on Saturday, campaign officials said Kaine's "major national security speech" in Wilmington will take place at the Hannah Block Historic USO Building and Community Arts Center. The speech will be invite-only and closed to the public due to space constraints, campaign officials said.

Kaine's speech will take place just a few hours before Trump conducts a rally at the Greenville Convention Center. Trump campaign officials said he will discuss his immigration policy at the rally.

Former president Bill Clinton also is expected to campaign in Durham on Tuesday, but campaign officials haven't yet released details about that stop. A town hall-style meeting by Trump running mate Mike Pence was set for Saturday before being canceled in the wake of Tropical Storm
